Project Overview

I’m proud to be one of the organizers for our monthly Refresh Portland gatherings. I’ve been very interested in the Refreshing Cities movement since it’s founding. I jumped at the chance when I heard that some of my design comrades were looking to start one up for Portland.

This design is a collaboration between myself and Josh Pyles. We explored a couple of different directions before settling on the design above. I provided the majority of the direction before handing it off to Josh for refinement and code. Josh also came up with the iconography and logo.

We wanted a solution that was refined and clean while presenting all pertinent information about Refresh on a single page. I look forward to expanding the site further as Refresh grows in size. I blogged about our first gathering, with a presentation by Tyler Sticka.
